Is it okay to clean your oven with a vacuum?
I mean, not that I'd ever do something like this... Except if it came to be that there was a bunch of crusty stuff sitting there... And a vacuum is a tool of expediency...

Done it. :-) Or should I say, "I have this friend I know of that has done it..."
It's nice if you have an attachment, so you don't have to heft the whole vacuum cleaner in there. That's just awkward.

Sandra, wouldn't it be awful to have to explain the cause of your back injury? "I was vacuuming... lifting the vacuum... twisting to get it into the oven..." Oh, the PAIN!
I don't know about vacuuming the oven...but I had a friend who vacuumed the bottom of her canary cage and...you guessed it...she vacummed up her canary. So sad! (DCG)
